Ekimetrics appoints ex Meta Marketing Science chief to lead UK enterprise AI expansion

Former Meta, WPP and Microsoft veteran to lead UK as member of global leadership as the firm sets its sights on becoming the global leader in enterprise AI deployment at scale

London, 21 July 2025 - Ekimetrics, the global leader in data science and AI solutions, today announces that AI and Marketing Science chief, Angie French, has joined its global leadership team to accelerate UK growth.

The move comes as part of its “Elevate 2028” strategy to become the global leader in enterprise AI deployment at scale. Ekimetrics’ unique tech-plus-services offer is designed to meet the demands of FTSE 100, 250 and large-scale companies seeking to unlock AI’s transformative potential for long-term impact.

French brings a decade of experience in board positions at the likes of Meta, where she was Director of Marketing Science (EMEA) as part of the Northern Europe Leadership team, and Kantar, where she was CEO EMEA of Lightspeed (now Profiles). As an experienced practitioner, she brings a wealth of expertise in solving business challenges through marketing science and AI.

Well-known on the speaker circuit, French also works in academia at both the University of Cambridge, where she contributes to GenAI deployment executive leadership programmes, and the National Film and Television School, where she brings technology to life for the creative industries’ most promising future entrepreneurs.

About Angie French

Angie French is an established and successful leader, innovator, practitioner and growth specialist in marketing science, AI and digital data.

Having started her career at Xerox before moving to Microsoft, where she used her engineering education to foster innovation and business growth, Angie moved into the world of programmatic digital media at WPP, rapidly becoming Xaxis’ EMEA Managing Director with full P&L responsibility. This was followed by her appointment as CEO EMEA of Lightspeed (now Profiles by Kantar) and later Director of Marketing Science at Meta (EMEA), where she was also a Commercial Board Member at UKOM, the UK’s online measurement body owned by ISBA, AOP & IAB.

Latterly, Angie has provided AI and data science consultancy alongside academic roles at the University of Cambridge and National Film and Television School while also contributing to the Ethical Intelligence network as an AI practitioner to develop AI ethics and governance frameworks. Angie is also a well-known speaker, bringing her deep technical expertise and commercial nous to audiences globally.

She believes strongly in client centricity, deep listening, collaboration, flexibility, and continual learning, having recently completed a post-graduate degree at Oxford University in Artificial Intelligence for Business. Those who work with her universally describe her as “smart”, “uplifting” and “commercial”.
