We are looking for a Full Stack R&D Engineer

Ekimetrics is recruiting.

We are looking for a talented full stack engineer to join us at Ekimetrics. The team is building innovative products to help our clients take better decisions. Our applications are mainly written in RoR, Javascript (AngularJS and D3.js) but we also use Python, Node.js, Meteor.js and Elastic Search.

Your responsibilities will include:
•    Building SaaS solutions and data-visualisations, from specifications to production.
•    Interact with clients to better understand their needs and provide them with an appropriate solution
•    Contribute to internal software products and open source projects, and communicate about your findings
•    Work on new technologies, and clear the way for the team

About you

We’re looking for a talented Engineer with the following:
•    An Advanced Degree (Masters/PhD) degree in computer science, web development or any related field.
•    Solid backend skills, ideally with experience in RoR or Node.js, Metor.js
•    Solid frontend skills: AngularJS (or any JS framework), D3.js, HTML 5, CSS 3
•    Knowledge about hosting and version control (Git) is a must
•    You’ll be equally ready to code up a working solution and to push new approaches
•    A practical and analytical mindset, with strong problem-solving skills
•    Good communication skills
•    Experience with SQL/NoSql dbs (MongoDb,Neo4J,..) and Analytics stack (statistics, machine learning) would be a serious plus
