DataCity Summit in Paris

DataCity is an open innovation program created by NUMA in partnership with the City of Paris, Ekimetrics is associated with this program as an expert in Data Science. A part of Ekimetrics’ team went to the Paris’ town hall on Tuesday 6th June, in order to attend the DataCity Paris‘ conference on the occasion of which, 10 innovated solutions for the city and its citizens, were presented.

DataCity is an open innovation program created by NUMA in partnership with the City of Paris, Ekimetrics is associated with this program as an expert in Data Science. The aim is to use the data in order to design adapted solutions for the good of tomorrow’s cities. 

A part of Ekimetrics’ team went to the Paris’ town hall this Tuesday 6th June, in order to attend the DataCity Paris ‘conference on the occasion of which, 10 innovated solutions for the city and its citizens, were presented. Ekimetrics as a Data Science’s partner of DataCity, accompanied NUMA and different startups during this last nine months.

Anne Hidalgo, mayor of Paris and president of C40 - organization grouping 40 cities which are fighting against the climate deregulation and against the climate sceptics president of the US, Donald Trump – made an introduction’s speech.

Then, Marie-Vorgan le Barzic (CEO, NUMA), Kevin Austin (Assistant Executive Director, NUMA), Salma Kabbaj (MD, NUMA Casablanca) and Javier Torner (UN-HABITAT) announced the international deployment of DataCity.

Finally, Edouard Maurel (program manager DataCity, NUMA) and Jean Philippe Clément (data director, Mairie de Paris) presented the 10 DataCity Paris challenges.
